When the air is particularly clear, more frequent in late fall and in winter, especially in the morning or in the evening, it is possible to see: on your right the Portofino promontory and more offshore the coast and the mountains which dominate Savona; across the Albenga plain, sometimes, are noticeable the Monviso solitary top and the Maritime Alps. Almost opposite, as if pointed out by Punta Mesco, the Corsica Mountains peep out.

Interesting hiking trails depart from here and allow people to visit all the five Sanctuaries of the Cinqueterre Departing from Soviore (on top of Monterosso) people can reach the Sanctuary of Reggio (on top of Vernazza) the Sanctuary of San Bernardino (on top of Corniglia), the Sanctuary of Madonna della Salute (on top of Manrola) and the Sanctuary or Montenero (on top of Riomaggiore).
