The National Park of the Cinque Terre
is a natural oasis of uncontaminated environment and, through the wise managing actions of it's President Franco Bonanini, strives each day to remain an area as much green as possible.

Environmental protection is actually putting this land one step ahead.
The example of the Cinque Terre National Park is now followed by all the nearby areas and administrations, such as the Regional Park of Portovenere and the Val di Vara and Val di Magra territories.
The city hall of La Spezia, main reference town and administrative head of the Province that embraces all these areas, supports all the programs of the Park as well.
The need for eco-sustainable actions is felt by famous cultural and political actors of the Italian scene.
The result of their commitment is, for instance, the Green Italy convention, held in Rome on November 17th 2009, a bipartisan meeting that minds, opinions and discussions from the two organisazions Symbola (Democratic Party oriented and founded by Ermete Realacci) and Farefuturo (the foundation created by Gianfranco Fini of the Right Wing Party) and sponsored by the National park of the Cinque Terre.
Main theme: the search for sustainable practices in our society and environment to be followed through local and international partnerships, public and private institutions, organizations and universities that will have to work together to develop solutions for tomorrow's world.
