Blue Villa
is a beautiful, outstanding building dating back to 16 hundred.
During the century it has undergone various restorations; in 17
and 18 hundred it was enriched with decoration and frescoed rooms.
The present owners restored it completely adding all the modern
appliances and comforts.
With great care and attention to any detail they have been able
to preserve the old terracotta floor tiles, the old beams, and
the old frescoes. Inside each room has a different wall decoration,
with old pastel colours. Outside the main building has been painted
in an old traditional Lucchese light blue. Antique pieces of country
furniture have been spread all over along with modern sofas and
arm chairs. The result is an elegant and comfortable villa, a great
place for a great vacation in Tuscany. There is a very good easy
paved road up to the gate of the villa
The property is not isolated, but enjoys great privacy.
Next to the villa there are two farm buildings, one pink, one yellow,
with two fully independent apartments, which have independent entrance
and garden.
The villa is located in the hilly countryside enjoying a great
view of the Lucca plain- Olive groves and vineyards all around.
The area is locally famous for a special, local red wine, called
GREO, this wine is produced in a little quantity of bottles, in
a very limited territory. We suggest to try it. The villa is in
a great location for visiting both South and North Tuscany. Nearest
village for shopping is 3km (grocery shop-post office-pharmacy
etc) Very good restaurants and trattorie close by.
The owner of the villa is a well known expert of flowers and landscape.
She planned the garden and the pool area with great professionality,
using the typical plants and flowers of the old gardens.
A large terrace lawn, in front of the villa, is organized with
tables, chairs, sun umbrellas as well as the pool area.
The pool (mt. 8 x 8) is surrounded by a large deck for sun bathing.
It has steps to get in. The garden is on two levels- front garden
and back garden (pool level)
Maid service is provided 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. Extra maid
service available on request, € 8 per hour.
COOK service on request, the cook’s fee is € 100 per dinner. (food
and wine extra cost).
Ground floor: large entrance with large table suitable also for
dining.
One living room with TV- stereo- CD player.
Dining room with large square table Fully equipped kitchen (gas
stove- electric oven- dish washer- fridge-frezeer, etc).
Laundry room- One service WC.
First floor: Very large and comfortable living room-opening on
