This idyllic property lies right in Monterosso, just a few steps from the ancient part of the village, but immersed in the Mediterranean country characterized by vineyards, olive groves and lemon trees.
Words are not enough to describe the paradise that travellers can find here: peace and nature embrace you, so that you wont ever go away. Only the poetry of Eugenio Montale could describe the enchantment one has the chance to meet at Buranco’s.
The property, a natural amphitheatre sea-facing kissed by the sun, is a farm well known for the production of delicious Cinqueterre D.O.C. Wine (appreciated even abroad), tasty Olive Oil , unique Limoncino (lemon liquor) and delicious Honey.
In total the 3 houses can host up to 13 persons.
You can reach the house, on foot, directly from the ancient part of the village, through a pedestrian pebble stone street among the lemon trees or, by car, from the road that comes from La Spezia and Levanto and reaches the old cemetery of the small village of Monterosso. By car it is not possible to arrive directly at the gate of the property, there is a sloping pedestrian passage (about 300 mt). The distance from the beaches and the village centre is about 500 meters (a gentle sloping passage that passes through lemon orchards and village houses connects the property to the main square of Monterosso.
White House:
it is located just at the entrance of the property.
The apartment is on the second floor of the house with private stairs and door. Upon entering the house we find a sitting room with a sofa bed for 1 person and a dining table. The small but fully equipped kitchen opens on this room. A short corridor leads to the bathroom with bath-tub and to 2 rooms, a master bedroom with a double bed and a smaller room with writing table and double sofa bed. (5 beds in total – an infant or a small child can be accepted if sleeping with parents)
Red House:
it is located a little farther on the hill and it is made up by two floors plus a nice solarium with view on the vineyards and the village. On the ground floor we have a studio for 2 people, a quite big single room where we find two single sofa beds, a kitchenette. From it we accede to a bathroom with shower.
On the first floor we have 2 rooms for 4 people: a master bedroom with double bed, a smaller bedroom with a double bed and bathroom with shower. Studio and Rooms have private separate access, so that the two units can be sold together or separately. Only the Studio, though, has the kitchen, so if customers need to use it, they have to rent the ground floor too, even if they are just 4. (6 beds in total – an infant or a small child can be accepted if sleeping with parents)
Yellow house:
Recently the owner added a new small studio apartment just between red and white house. The place is good just for a couple or two teenagers. Small kitchenette inside, small bathroom and one double bed.
In the 3 houses there is air conditioning.
Furnishing is simple according to the place and the desire of the owner that wants to keep the place as much as close to the nature and far from luxury and opulence.
There is no central heating, but both the properties have a wooden stove that can easily warm up the houses in a few minutes in the colder seasons. Between the two houses there is a wonderful wooden roof, that the owners use for wine and food tasting. Both the houses are equipped with TV, dishwasher, microwav e oven and share a washing machine.
There is a free parking spot available for one car on top of the hill, up the road that connects the cemetery and the property to the main road arriving from La Spezia and Levanto. It is advisable for the driver to leave people and luggage down, as much as possible close to the house, and then going back up to park the car and take a small stroll to the property.
