This spacious studio is on the lower floor of the building. The access is directly
from the road, but position does not make the place noisy at all.
Actually, the apartment is obtained by the restoration of the old canteens of
the building and it keeps the typical stone walls all around the property and
a beautiful brick stone arch in the middle.
The place is really peculiar and takes us back to old times. An ancient wine
press welcomes us right at the entrance.
Two windows open only high up the front walls, since we are, on the front side,
under the earth level and the place is not very luminous, but this adds peculiarity
to the property.
In the main living room there is a double bed, a double sofa bed, ideal for two
children, and a dining table. From this room there is access to the small, equipped
kitchen (no dishwasher included) and to the bathroom. A door connects the apartment
to the building internal stairs and the reserved portion of the garden area.
Outside the apartment, on top of the stairs, there is a service room with washing
machine; it is used also by the customers of the other apartment of the property.
The property can be sold either to a couple or, having just one big living are,
with no separation between day and night, it can be sold to a family made up
by two adults and two children.
Note: all the properties in Corniglia (with the exception of Scent of Corniglia)
have no air conditioning, since the feaure of the buildings (made in thick stone)
and the ventilated location of the village, to not require it.
Corniglia
Apartments
A wide selection of nice apartments and rooms in the very heart
of Corniglia, the third village of the Cinqueterre.
Staying in Corniglia means getting to know the area of the Cinqueterre
from a unique point of view. First of all it is the middle village
of the five ones and the village layout is pretty much different
from the others: as you reach it by train you discover that the
station is down on the sea level, but the residential area is
on top, perched on a rocky cape, in the past quite inaccessible
by the sea. Visitors can reach it by going up the “Lardarina”
a long series of steps, 375 to be precise, divided into 33 flights
, about one hundred meters above the sea level. But the lazy
ones (do not worry!) can reach the village by road using a frequent
shuttle service provided by the Cinque Terre National Park (1,00
€ or fare included in the Cinqueterre Card).
As you can imagine, when you reach the top, sights are just wonderful
and breathtaking!
In this enchanting place, we offer you apartments, studios and
rooms enchanting as well.
