In the very heart of the ancient part of the village of Monterosso, in the original nucleus and most typical area called “in Buranco”, we find this typical apartment that develops on 2 levels, going up unwinding on stairs as if it wanted to to use all the gaps rocks and a not too gentle land would yield to its inhabitants.
Entrance is from a small green wooden door under a stone porch, where most of the openings are occupied by old private cellars where vineyard and fishing tools mingles, witnessing the true essence of this land: sea and land joined together in the life of its inhabitants.
Passing the main door we find 2 flights of stairs (33 steps), then a door and other 2 flights of stairs (18 steps). Then a large kitchen and dining rooms opens in front of us. Kitchen and furnishing is all new and quality is high. Walls have been covered with soft colours wallpaper. Kitchen is complete, with refrigerator, stove oven and dishwasher.
From the kitchen we have access to a small bathroom with shower. On the other side of the room we enter a charming bedroom, elegantly furnished with a double king size bed.
A window door leads us to a wonderful wide balcony with an evocative view on the typical roofs and vineyard hills of the Cinque Terre. Romantic tents will shade it, offering a peerless relax area. Imagine yourself here at night sipping a delicious glass of wine with your loved one. (Pictures portray balcony without tents, since they have been take during winter time with works in progress)
From the dining room we have wooden stairs that take up to an under roof, cosy bedroom with a king size bed and a small brass porthole.
There’s no air conditioning in the property, but it is not necessary since large stone walls keep the apartment warm in winter and fresh in summer. Heating system available.
Property is ideal for a couple in love who choose Cinque Terre to celebrate their honeymoon or anniversary or for 2 couples of friends who like living the atmosphere of a real Cinque Terre House.
Distances: 800 meters from train station (taxi available 6,00 eur approx.), 500 meters from payment car parking area and garage.; 200 meters from pier and first beach.
Stores: a supermarket and a canteen are located in the small square right under the apartment; any other food or utility store are at hand and restaurants, pizzerias and pubs as well.
Property does not accept children under 12.
