The recent reconstruction works have created a distinctive and agreeable environment that combines the warmth unaffected welcoming to the comfort of a modern structure respectful of the ecology and of the internal well living.
In the property there are 4 double rooms with private bathroom (Mea - Ziguiela - Zin Zin - Aargan) + an additional room on top of the property with a sofa bed for 2. Zin Zin and Ziguela are at ground floor, Aargan and Mea are on first floor, on top we have a wonderful relax area: a sitting room and a “terrazza” that opens open directly on the sea; this area is open to all the guests of the property who want to sit there and enjoy the magic of the Cinque Terre landscape.
All rooms have a wonderful sea view and are equipped with all comforts: acoustic insulation, private services, satellite TV, safe, mini bar, hair dryer. Privacy is guaranteed, even though rooms are not sold on exclusive basis

The area and its buildings formed the most important part of Manarola Medieval Castle that has been built in the X century and destroyed by an overwhelming battleships fleet from Genoa in the XV century.
Since Castle destruction the main building stayed in ruins. There was not much left of it, apart from the ground floor thick medieval dry stone walls and arches, when the owner’s family bought and restored it in 1955. Much work was done in order to bring it back to its original four floor tower-house size.
During 2001 started a new renovation project that ended in late spring 2003.
All the works have been conceived in order to guarantee the respect of the environment and of the building origins.
In the ground floor "cantina" the stone walls and arch have been left in the way they have been found and only few additions have been made such as: all upper floors, with the bedrooms, living-room and terrace, have been restored according to an ecologically sensitive design, with good care in detailing, combining a creative use of local traditional craftsmanship and materials, along with the most advanced and efficient building technology, in the belief that, through a sensitive design and care in detailing, it is possible to ensure people well-being and influence the quality of our lives.
