This majestic villa is located just above La Spezia, a perfect hub for touring not only the entire Italian Riviera but also Tuscany, Portofino, Santa Margherita, Rapallo, and the CinqueTerre which are all within 45 minutes by car, train, or ferries that leave only a few minutes away from Giardino Ricordi's private gates.
Recently published in a popular Italian home magazine, an elegant and chic atmosphere has been created with perfectly restored antique pieces, amazing frescoed ceilings, and beautiful furniture all in light nuances giving the house a bright and airy feel.
The owner has put true love and care in every single detail and has now decided to share with us her masterpiece.
Walking into the villa's main entrance there is a large hallway with the main living room to the right. This is a very large and comfortable furnished living room with a magnificent marble fireplace and terraces overlooking the garden with views onto the gulf off in the distance.
There is also a door leading out to an area that is equipped for dining outdoors under the shade of the palm trees. Just down the hallway there is a fully equipped kitchen to the right that has an open floor plan and a bar that communicates with the TV room and informal dining room. The TV room has a nice fireplace and a comfortable sitting area with couches and chairs. Again the kitchen leads out to another large terrace where there is another table for dining outdoors or even for sunbathing.
Just off of the kitchen there is a small bathroom with a hip tub and a small door that leads into a bedroom that has been furnished with original rare antique marine pieces taken from old English vessels with two single beds and a small bathroom with a shower.
Going up the staircase to the first floor there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The master bedroom (beige room) has a queen size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a new shower with water massage technology.
The second bedroom (hats room) has a double bed and shares a bathroom with a shower with the third bedroom which has two singles that can be made together as a double room or separately as twin bed.
From the ground floor we find a small door and passage that lead to the spacious downstairs living room and the formal dining room. This living room is very comfortable and furnished with two very big sofas and two big chairs. This area is just off the garden area and the perfect place for relaxing and enjoying the cool sea breeze.
The garden has lemon trees, fig trees, cherry trees, and palms. It has been perfectly maintained and it is no less than gorgeous, offering the perfect amount of shade without darkening the house whatsoever.
Wi-fi connection is available in the property.
Two hours of maid service three times during the week are included in villa rental and a cook is available upon request. The owner is also available for guided tours into the CinqueTerre, Portovenere, etc.
Actually the property has 4 bedrooms divided in two floors, but it can be rented separately: a smaller family group needing just 3 bedrooms can rent the upstairs floor and enjoy of garden facilities as well. (in case of upstairs floor rental, laundry washing is included in rates and the housemaid will do it for the guests).
Included in the rates there is (upon request) a 2 hours trip to the town of
La Spezia with the owner, she will take you at the “farmer’s market” and will help you discover the secrets of the best shops for whine, food and more…..

The owner accepts even shorter periods than a week.
The property is an ideal place for small weddings (up to 30 guests) and business parties.
N.B. Children from 2-12 yrs of age are not accepted. Upon request there is a crib available for infants.
The property is available for “long term” rentals(min 3 months) generally in the period from October to April /May (depending on previous bookings), owners are open to rentals for a period of 1 year and more (this option deserve to be planned at least 6 months in advance) .
For the long term option it is possible to rent a part of the villa with the 3 bedrooms (second floor) and the first floor with kitchen and the frescos living room,2 terraces and Italian style garden.
