Villa Daisy is
an independent stone house dating back to the 18th century. It
was part of a large family estate, with the main villa dominating
the property. The main villa, where the present owers live permanently,
is a very interesting example building, unique in all the territory
of Lucca.
It is like half-villa.
The old Lucchese noble family which started to build the villa
in 1700, with the typical architecture of that time, at a certain
point, and we do not know why, decided to abandon this villa to
build an other one not far away-they left the first building unfinished.
In fact the present villa is like ..half-villa..The right wing
was finished and decorated with the typical 1700 fresco painted
decorations, while the left wing completely unfinished!!
The present owners have restored all the property with great care
and attention to details.
In Casa Margherita they fully respected the old characteristics
of the building and used all the original stones and bricks,as
long as terracotta tiles and wood beans, maintaining the old charm,
while adding all the modern appliances.
Inside the house is nicely decorated with Tuscan country period
pieces of furniture and lovely fabrics.

enjoy a lovely pool with great view on the hilly country side covered
with vineyards, and olive groves.
The garden and the space around the house are nicely decorated
with terracotta pots and old stone flower containers.
A very nice pergola for dining al fresco, welcome people for drinking
a glass of wine while relaxing and watching the peacefull landscape
and view.
The owners live in the yellow villa 30 mts from Casa Margherita.
The villa is completely independent- it has its garden area and

for grocery shop at a short distance. Segromigno km 3; here there
are shops, bank, post office, pharmacy, bars, pizzeria, etc.
Lucca 12 km; Pisa 40 minutes; Florence one hour; Siena 2 hours;
Viareggio and the beach 30 minutes.
