We are proud
to announce that one of our favorite homeowners has purchased a
wonderful seafront home in Portovenere! White Rose occupies the
entire first floor of one of the most antique villas in Portovenere.
The villa is in a dominating position just outside the typical
fisherman’s village and offers uncomparable sea views along with
a unique restoration in a very contemporary style.
A wonderful
garden for dining outdoors, stainless steel appliances, korian
countertops, flat screen cable tv, cool slate floors, ac, and wireless
internet are just some of the amenities!
Upon entering the private gate, there is a wonderful garden area.
This area has been gated with a crystal barrier that allows full
views of the sea less than 200 meters away. There are lemon, tangerine,
and grape trees for shade and lounging chairs for relaxing on the
well groomed lawn. A marble staircase leads up to the front balcony
and into the main entrance of the apartment.
Upon entering the apartment there is a spacious central room: the
apartment develops all around it. The entire apartment has been
furnished with light grey slate floors.
All-white furnishings and
linens give the whole place a very bright and clean feel. Here
is the comfortable living room area that has a flat screen television
and a sofa, a dining room table which divides the living room area
and the very modern kitchen. The room has also two large windows,
making the property very bright and airy along with uncomparable
views of the Poets’ Gulf.
The kitchen has state of the art appliances,
oversize stainless oven, espresso maker, refridgerator with ice-maker
and korian counter tops. From the kitchen there is a door which
leads outside and wraps around the apartment. Along this area there
is an outdoor kitchen, bbq, washing room and a table for dining
with views.
To the left of the living room there is a large bedroom with three
single beds. The beds can be arranged according to each clients
needs (either 3 singles or 1 double and 1 single). The second smaller
bedroom is to the right and has a queen size bed, a built in closet
and a small ensuite bathroom with a shower. Both of these rooms
face the front facade and offer wonderful sea views directly from
the beds! The third bedroom and second bathroom are just off the
kicthen area. The third bedroom has a double bed and although the
bathroom is not ensuite it is just beside the bedroom.
Notes for description: It should be noted that both of the double
bedrooms are quite small, especially the bedroom with the ensuite
bathroom (customers must be informed of that ahead of time). There
is also a steep staircase that actually leads up to the villa’s
entrance, which is about 30 steps up from the street level.
Parking
is available at the Grand Hotel parking garage for an extra fee,
but it should be requested ahead of time so that the space can
be reserved.
