L’Artista is an exclusive and luxury apartment in Manarola, a breathtaking property, one of the best in the Cinque Terre area. Art is everywhere, every corner of this house speaks out the owner’s artistic flair and the property outdoor spaces offer unique views and moments of romance and relaxation.

The House

L’Artista is more than an apartment, even though it is not the sole property of the building, it occupies the entire upper part, two floors, and once there we have the feeling of inhabiting an independent villa.

The property dominates a portion of Manarola cliff.

Access is from easy to be reached Piazza Castello. From front door 58 steps and we enter the apartment through an artistic, hand made, wrought iron gate.

A corridor, with a small bathroom opening on it, leads to the spacious sitting room furnished with 2 couches, tv set and stereo case and showing modern art paintings.

To the left of the sitting room we have a twin bedroom with bunk beds (they can be turned into two low twins or a double bed). From this room we have access to a bright double bedroom that has two windows opening on the village roofs and hills, offering unique and singular views.

Please, note that access to this bedroom is through the twin bedroom.

From the sitting room a large, stone staircase leads to the upper floor where a design and fully equipped kitchen welcomes us.

On the upper floor of L’Artista we have a bathroom with bathtub which is equipped with washing machine.

We have access from here to a long balcony with views on Piazza Castello, the sea and the cliffs.

Going back down to the sitting room floor we find a window opening on a large terrace with breathtaking sea views equipped with outdoor shower with cold and hot water.

A wrought iron gate introduces us to an annex: a curious and romantic extension of the apartment, holding a double bedroom dug up from the cliff stone. Steps take us down to the third bathroom of the property that has two small windows opening on the cliff side and watching over the blue waters below.

Other steps departing from the annex bedroom lead us to another secret terrace over the cliff and the waters.

L’Artista offers at extra charge (20.00 eur per day) a private garage spot at the entrance of the village, approx. 400 mt. from the property.

L’Artista will surprise and fascinating you. Words are not enough to explain the mystery and beauty of the place.

You just have to book it and discover by yourself the charme and romance it will offer you.

Good to know

The annex are of L’Artista is totally natural, since carved into the cliff stone.  Even though we take utmost care in sanityzing and cleaning this part of the property, it might be that insects (ants or un-harmful small spiders) are to be seen here, being it carved into the cliff. It is nature, nothing else, nothing dangerous. We do not have dangerous insects in Italy . Even though it’s rare these insect appear, we cannot exclude it might happen, so guests scared by insects are suggested not to rent this property. But this might happen everywhere here in the Cinque Terre. This is a Natural Park!

L’Artista, due to the peculiarity of its architecture and position does not accept children under 8. Infants accepted only if younger than 6 months. 3 nights minimum.

Stores and most of the restaurants down in the lower part of the village, less than 200 mt afar. One restaurant close to property, 50 mt afar.
